DEEP IMPRESSIONS LEAVE THEIR MARK
By Laurie Naughtin www.sublunar.co.za
Finally we feel that things are ready to move along at a normal pace as the personal planets are all going at their normal speed. Life is beginning to happen and generally we should be feeling more forward driven.
But dear old Saturn has entered his station; this is a period of time when a planet does not move. This is a time where in a positive light we could take the time to make a deeper impression or in a negative way fall knee deep into trouble.
Saturn is about authority and discipline; many call Saturn the planet of Karma. Saturn in his own sign of Capricorn is particularly concerned about the mining industry and business. Many mines and businesses are closing down or downsizing, this is a bad thing for our economy as the levels of unemployment rise.
During this Saturn retrograde period we have been alerted to what is not working and where things in our life seem to be falling apart. The same thing is happening in all areas of life from Governments to father figures, those who wield power as well as social standing in communities and committees. They may be dragging their feet or even fall from grace.
Johannesburg is a mining city and the structure due to poor management is breaking literally. Bridges, fire stations, water works are in trouble and seriously need to be fixed. Well the cracks, so to say, are now visible and restructuring is happening in a big way, but the delays as this happens is typical of the Structure planet Saturn in his station. The great news is as he begins to move forward in his normal speed around November we will begin to see positive results.
Many of us are fed up with our career path and are feeling a call for change, but Saturn retrograde can show us that taking this step requires, in some cases, more life lessons. Take your time before making drastic change, think things through and when the universal lesson of your current position has been accomplished your direction will be guided.
Many are seeking closure of uncomfortable situations seriously affecting their lives, these situations would have cropped up during Saturn retrograde, now whilst Saturn has entered into his station it may feel as if any decision made is hindered.
This feeling of a lack of control is similar to getting stuck in mud on a car trip, the harder you try to get out, the deeper your wheels dug in. It may take other vehicles, effort, stones and planks placed under the wheels before finally your car is free leaving behind deep tyre prints that can dry and leave a lasting impression.
Carefully laid plans can be fraught with delays due to setbacks and unforeseen obstacles when planets are in their station and not moving, after all it is movement that makes the world go round.
When we feel out of control and trapped, fear and pessimism can set in. Avoid this as the way out of any sticky and seemingly lost situation is to be objective, if a path is blocked and unattainable then find another. This is literally a time to see all sides of an issue, weigh up pros and con’s before making any rash decisions.
The past few months we have experienced the destruction and change that the many retrograde planets as well as the 3 eclipses have brought upon us. Our foundations have been shaken up, when this happens it is likened to an earth quake or destruction of a building site, it takes time for life to flatten out and become smooth again.
This is where we are now, taking time for things to settle so we can find a path that is more secure and can smooth the way forward.
Now this stationary Saturn is amplified by an aspect from Uranus retrograde in Taurus. Uranus brings about upsets that can totally wipe out any feeling of security we may have.
In a way this is likened to a real life horror story where the evil is coming to get us and our car won’t start. Not all of us will be affected by this transit but some will through others by seeing what is happening around them and the environment they are either living or working in. This energy was particularly strong towards the end of August, it is over, and we need to take control of our fear and embrace the lessons learnt never to be forgotten, this will take a long time to heal.
The good news is Mercury is direct and joining the Sun in Virgo, so the ability to communicate and get on with our daily lives will become easier as long as we have a system in place. It is the logical, practical and systematic energy that will enable us to cope with vast amounts of detail saving us from ourselves and others.
Organisation and hard work will help smooth our path moving forward.
With Venus the planet of desire in Libra a diplomatic approach towards others is going to win you friends and support in any type of relationship. Partnering up with others, planning projects together, and helping each other out will be beneficial to yourself as well as those you connect with on a daily basis.
When Venus is in Libra love most certainly is in the air, a hunger for a deeper relationship is certainly on the cards for those who seek love. This is a time to be with your partner and solidify your love; some may be ready for taking that big step to seal their commitment to each other. Engagements and wedding planning could crop up, yes it is a great time to explore dates and plan weddings.
The only problem this month is on the 11th of September Venus moves into Scorpio where the temptation to control our relationships could cause a whole lot of unhappiness. This in turn could lead to break ups and make ups. Jealousy will raise its harmful head and cracks in relationships will be exposed. Just remember no one is perfect, true love will accept their partners with all their faults.
On a lighter note when Venus is in Scorpio it is a time where we can get out of an abusive controlling relationship or empower a current partnership.
Jupiter the planet that brings about a lot of energy is in good motion in Scorpio bringing about lots of changes and endings, more so than ever before.
Our action planet Mars is driving us towards looking at innovative solutions to the how’s and when’s of transformation, though in some cases the action for change can have a rebellious and somewhat aggressive energy to it.
The Vegetarian choice of lifestyle is on the increase, this started as Uranus entered Taurus the earthy sign. But as this has just happened be aware that the planet that started this voyage is turning back on itself. So those who jumped in feet first may need to take a step back and re-think their approach.
A well balanced vegetarian diet is a healthy option as it will lower the risk of heart disease, cancer and diabetes. By eating a good variety of foods such as legumes, plenty of nuts and seeds, soy products, whole grains, vegetables, beets and fruit a person can get adequate nutrition.
Uranus seeks the truth and highlights facts that we are not aware of and one of them is the use of too much Coconut in the diet. A small percentage of the saturated fat in coconut oil, about 10%, is made up of less harmful saturated fatty acids, but virtually all the rest of coconut oil’s saturated fat is made up of the long-chain varieties that send LDL, the cholesterol levels in the blood, soaring.
In fact I was surprised to read that ounce for ounce; coconut oil has more saturated fat than butter, beef tallow, or lard. https://www.pritikin.com/your-health/healthy…/1790-is-coconut-oil-bad-for-you.html
Essentially if your healthy choice is the option to take the vegetarian path, great… but do your research and use wisdom to plan your diet.
The actual Spring Equinox is on the 22nd of September, time to spring clean our lives and bodies, happy Spring Equinox!
