The planets that we see wandering through the night sky are called transiting planets.
All the planets continually move around the ecliptic, which is the circular belt around the Earth. When we refer to a transit we talk about a specific event that happens as these planets connect with each other by aspect in the heavens.
These transiting planets and their aspects aligning in your natal chart will trigger the beginning of shifts and changes. This change could be either good or bad, benefice or malefic depending on the transit and aspect it is making to your birth chart.
In astrology, the term transits refer to the ongoing movement of the planets, in contrast to their positions at your birth or when some other notable event occurred. Because they are connected to current reality, transits reflect our collective reality, the world we’re all living in together. Transits are like cards that the world deals us, and what we do with them — how we play the hand — is what changes us and determines the course of our destiny.– April Elliot Kent Astrologer and Author
An aspect is an angle the planets make to each other in both horoscopes and the transits. Only certain angular relationships are regarded as aspects, and these are said to have intrinsic qualities – they are said to be “harmonic”, “dynamic” or “neutral”. These relationships influence how the planets work together.
When any planet on your chart perfects an aspect with a transiting planet, this will set off all sorts of reactions. The mini reading can inform you of such events and help guide you through them.
