MAY NEWSLETTER 2017
TRIAL AND ERROR
By Laurie Naughtin www.sublunar.co.za
After a very sluggish April, May speeds up, not too fast but things will feel lighter and you will find that you feel less trapped.
Venus has finally moved direct and is visible just before the Sun rises in the morning. For those of you who cycle or run, you will be greeted by a Morning Venus Star, a very pretty sight as Venus is brighter than any other Star or Planet, and she can even cast a shadow on Earth.
Venus is a planet that is associated with attraction, desire, magnetism; Venus can be likened to a force that draws animals and humans together.
As a morning star rising before the Sun, Venus is known as the bringer of light. When Venus rises before the Sun she brings with her passion and impulsive energy.
Venus in Aries as a morning star is seeking self empowerment, love and all things desired. This is what we can expect from Venus this month and as she moves through the degrees of Aries she will activate and empower every planet in your chart.
This is reason enough to have a mini reading this month, $30 or R300 contact me email@example.com
Just a note of caution regarding Venus this month, Venus can result in women in behaving in a nasty unladylike manner. Bitchy angry outbursts could turn nasty…so ladies bite your tongue.
Men you too my find some sensitive triggers being activated, so just think before acting. At this time there is a danger of abuse even sexual abuse, so avoid any dangerous situations.
Just be aware of impulsive behaviour, sometimes our passion, if impulsive, can override logic. But luckily for us Mercury is in Taurus so wants life and communications with others to take on a more practical and laid back path.
Mercury is direct on the 4th, but still very slow in motion until the 13th of May where life starts to speed up.
This is a month where careful and practical procedures will produce the best results. Take your time when working on a project and do it well. Dot all the I’s and cross all the T’s as this will bring about the desired results.
Building up to the 17th we will find life may require some adjustments; it is a challenging time where we can expect diversion and redirection occurring out of the blue. The reason for this is Jupiter applying to Inconjunct Neptune which is a challenging aspect.
This energy will be hanging around for quite a few months. It is a time where we may experience trial and error creeping into the way we use our skills. But do not give up trying.
It is a time where we can have a multitude of ideas and dreams and not enough reality. To be too trusting and hopeful is not ideal as you could get hurt. During this time it is best to work behind the scenes, your vivid imagination and dreams need to have an element of reality to them.
That being said it is good to test the limits to gain the most form this aspect, but be careful of repeatedly falling into the trap of self-delusion and over optimism. You will need to have the faith and trust yourself to take risks, but know your limits remember that the right amount in the right proportions can lead to brilliance and genius.
This transit can test your faith in someone or something. In order to grow and expand you need to have dreams and exercising your belief in yourself may just tip the scale in your favour.
At the same time you may meet up with disappointment and confusion finding yourself questioning your faith in people, partners, and projects. The tipping point is here and if the scale is tipping in a direction that is not to your liking it is for you to make changes or to compromise.
Hidden unsettled business between you and others may suddenly come to light, the sensible thing to do is to try and understand each other and adapt, change and evolve when relating others.
Life is evolving at a very fast pace, the way things are going may not be feeding your ideal, you can either just dissolve yourself into a pool of anger and pain or you can get on the bus and adapt, find your path in these evolutionary times. You may take a few wrong turns along the way, but hey, they will all be lessons learnt.
Basically we will be seeing signs that are telling us that we need to change or compromise, if we fight this evolutionary pull our lives and dreams will become extinct.
Another exciting aspect we are feeling and which will reach it peek around the 20th is a very fiery one. This is a time where we are finding a creative balance between the old and the new in life.
Changes that have been made in your life are no longer challenges but should now been seen as new and interesting aspects of your life.
Saturn the planet of structure is in flexible Sagittarius where flexible structure can get you far, add the vibrant energy of Uranus in Aries we have the advantage of making changes and coming forward with original thinking in a logical, yet adaptable and orderly manner.
Basically it is a great time to work for change, but to do in a disciplined, innovative and creative way. This can happen without causing chaos, if chaos comes into the picture all discipline and structure will collapse.
Politically we have no idea where our country is going; in fact some of us facing reality may feel powerless. In an ideal world Zuma will step down or be voted out, if we take on the reality of the situation things are not going to be easy. Change is inevitable and not in an ideal way.
The solution is the ability to adjust your ideals, goals and hopes to the situation you find yourself in, be innovative and evolve your thinking, face reality and know your limits. From this platform of evolutionary understanding you can become inventive and practical about your future.
It is all about preventing the dreaded cold. The common cold is common because we can get it from all people be they gentry or common. It is passed on from fellow to foe.
As long as your immune system can stay one step ahead of the virus, you’ll feel better again quickly… and in some cases may not even know you were ‘sick’
So the question is how we protect ourselves from such an ailment. It can be simple…have a container of Vicks on your person at all times. Should you be using public transport, travelling by aircraft, spinning at the gym or in any areas of life where you are exposed to people who may be carrying the virus, prevent contamination with a barrier like Vicks.
Put the Vicks in your nose it creates a protective barrier as well as having and anti-virus effect. Healthy eating, exercise, sleep, less stress and extra vitamin D levels are all factors that should be addressed to keep your immune system well this flu season.
Vitamin D helps reduce your likelihood of developing the flu according to a clinical trial American Journal of Clinical Nutrition where it was shown that vitamin D (3) supplementation during the winter may reduce the incidence of seasonal influenza A, especially in specific subgroups of schoolchildren.
Natural sources of vitamin D are found in cheese, dairy products, fatty fish or fish oils, egg yolks, beef liver, fresh orange juice and soy milk. Very interesting point is that cereals contain vitamin D; you need to read the box to see which ones.
If you have a little bottle of tee tree oil, add a few drops to your hand cream, it can act as a hand sanitizer, or you could just buy a hand sanitizer from your closest chemist.
Now armed with information to fight off the flu, I need to actually go out and walk my talk. Well till next month, nurture your immune system, and keep the virus spread at bay.
