CALMER PRACTICALYET STILL UNCERTAIN
By Laurie Naughtin www.sublunar.co.za
Emotional outbreaks and irrational anger are coming to an end, the good news is our anger issues will calm down from the 6th of March.
Venus enters Taurus where she is a lot calmer and practical, letting go of irrational anger and violent outbursts.
We can become nicer more rational in our behaviour, a great time to look at your finances and personal possessions. As for love, a great time for romance, poetry, music and beautiful things. Bring desirable projects back into your life be they cooking, painting or gardening, get out of your head space and create what you love to do with abandon.
Mercury will go direct in the second week of March so communication and general everyday life will begin to normalise. There will still be an element of misunderstanding as Mercury is not happy in Pisces, everyday life is still somewhat muddled.
We could experience moments of hopelessness and a lack of clarity, to combat this slow down and regain the trust you feel you have lost. If you can bring a clear focus into your blurred vision hold onto it and see it through, good results will eventually prevail. Taking on too much will tend to dissolve your focus.
The difficult energy we are experiencing when it comes to putting structure into our work, life, and projects will continue. This is certainly not the time to just give up, you really need to have the discipline to hold onto what you can actually see as a path to success. Any unclear visions are just that, unclear so don’t waste your energy on them.
I have many clients wanting to leave their jobs or the lifestyle, it is not the time to make this move, but to acknowledge that certain changes are necessary so a plan can be put into place for when the right time comes.
Change has been on the cards for a long time, these are changes that can shift your life; serious decisions will need to be considered, consider them with a rational mind, avoid allowing emotions to control your decisions.
We are going to feel very unsettled towards the latter part of this month as Saturn is leaving the structured position of Capricorn and moving into Aquarius an innovative social air sign. This gives us the opportunity to think out of the box and get rid of anything that is holding us back.
When planets change signs we do feel unsettled, especially when it is a slow moving Planet such as Saturn, but this new energy he embraces is a lot lighter than that of Capricorn, I say we can lighten up a bit.
This is a year that is cautioning us to be careful of the decisions we make, yet still see what we can change and what we can move away from, be careful that you do not throw the baby out with the dish water.
Capricorn energy is not a fast energy it is slow and ponderous, disciplined and cautious, as well as doing things correctly by obeying the laws of life. With 4 major planets in Capricorn we are seriously feeling that it is time to look at life and our future. Mars is a planet of action, pioneering and in Capricorn gives us the energy to take the steps to begin our journey as we look at how we can restructure our situations in life.
Jupiter the planet of expansion is holding back as he obeys the rules of Capricorn this year. Any grow or expansion we may desire will manifest slowly if done correctly and in a disciplined way.
Impulsive decisions are the enemy and cause for many a downfall and regret. Wisdom and careful application with research and knowledge will be your saviour. Do not rush this year, see your path clearly, and debunk your thoughts replacing them with reality.
Unhappiness can lead to impulsive behaviour, overcome that emotion, should you really need to get away from any destructive situation at work or within a relationship, do it with a supportive plan in place.
Challenges are a good thing, take them on, but it is important you take time to navigate these challenges with an awareness of the outcome.
The season is changing and I have experienced that this is a time many of us want to make changes such as giving up smoking, leaving jobs, buying something new or doing something differently. If you are feeling unsettled one of the reasons could be that you are simply feeling the coming of the Autumnal equinox. The days are getting shorter and the nights longer, more time to be quiet and catch up on a bit of sleep.
Sleep deprivation may adversely affect the brain and cognitive function, lack of sleep increases levels of stress hormones, which may reduce new cell production in adult brains.
Excessive tiredness can lead to a drop in immunity and one can become susceptible to all sorts of health conditions.
We live with stress, hooked on our screens be they i-phones, TV, and or computers, and bad eating habits, lack of exercise and long hours of work we just do not give our brain a chance.
These lifestyle patterns should be better managed; there are a multitude of natural remedies for sleep, bear in mind you do need to give your body time to adjust to the new patterns and remedies, persistence works.
Chamomile tea is a mild sedative with an added relaxation advantage, make a
strong brew to sip after a shower before bed. Showering or bathing at nigh helps slow your body down, bring about the first step to a good sleep.
Bathing or showering before bed clears your aura or energy field removing toxins and leaving you feeling more relaxed and soothed. Going to bed carrying the days tension and stress on your body metaphysically is damaging …sleeping in a toxic aura is not a great thought.
Valerian root helps one to sleep deeper and faster. Pacific Islanders use Kava root to treat anxiety and sleep disorders, they also use the tropical Passion flower which helps one to calm down and drift off. These can be found in Natural Remedy Shops.
Melatonin is the hormone that will regulate your sleep and wake cycle; you do need to consult with your GP to determine the correct does for you.
